What are the changes in the process of evaluation?

The names of the jury members for the 24th International Poster Biennale have been announced. The Programme Committee invited 6 people to sit in the panel this year and all of them agreed to participate. These include world-renowned graphic designers and design critics:

Stephan Bundi
David Crowley
Kenya Hara
Jerzy Porębski
Silvia Sfligiotti
Jakub Hakobo Stępień

The jury will work in two stages, the first of them taking place online in March, and the second one to be held in Warsaw in June.

A novelty introduced for this edition of the Biennale is an online poster submission system that not only improved the organization of the event, but also allowed the jury members to work via the Internet. Throughout March they will review and evaluate the posters submitted in an electronic form (for now). The shortlisted authors will qualify for the main exhibition and will be asked to send the prints. Unlike previous editions, the jury panel will remain the same until the end of the Biennale. In June, Stephan Bundi, David Crowley, Kenya Hara, Jerzy Porębski, Silvia Sfligiotti and Jakub Hakobo Stępień will visit the Poster Museum for a 3-day session to decide on the winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals as well as of the Gold Debut, a category for students and graduates.
